Thursday, November 1, 2007: Captured: 90; Killed: 15; High value: 1
Mosul; Tall AfarCoalition forces killed 14 al Qaeda operatives captured 37 during raids in northern and central Iraq. Iraqi police and soldiers killed a suicide bomber at a Tall Afar hospital. Iraqi security forces captured 53 insurgents, including a leader of the Islamic State of Iraq in Mosul.
Friday, November 2, 2007: Captured: 13; Killed: 10
Diyala: Al Miqdadiyah; Balad; Babil: Coalition forces killed 10 al Qaeda operatives and captured three during operations in central and northern Iraq. Seven al Qaeda operatives were captured as US and Iraqi forces are conducting operations in Miqdadiyah and Balad Ruz. Three policemen were arrested in Babil province for "facilitating armed attacks."

Hillah; Baghdad; Baghdad: AdhamiyahIraqi soldiers captured 12 suspected insurgents during a raid onthe Sunni Abu Hanifa Mosque in the Adhamiyah district in Baghdad. US troops captured five insurgents during operations in Baghdad's Rashid district. Iraqi security forces captured 65 insurgents north of Hillah and detained another 19 in Baghdad. The Sadrist movement called for the end of detentions of its members.
Monday, November 5, 2007: Captured: 161; Killed: 12
Taji; Diyala: Ba`qubah; Baghdad: Al-DuraCoalition forces killed five al Qaeda operatives and detained 30 in raids against leadership targets. US and Iraqi troops killed seven al Qaeda fighters and captured 20 in Baqubah. The Iraqi Army detained 81 suspected insurgents during clearing operations in Suwayrah. Iraqi Security Forces detained 22 suspected extremists in separate raids in Kubaysah and Taji. US troops captured eight insurgents in Doura.
Tuesday, November 6, 2007: Captured: 92; High value: 1
Baghdad; Diyala: Ba`qubah; TikritIraqi Security Forces captured 39 suspected insurgents along the foothills of the Hamrin Mountains of Tikrit, including a senior member of the Islamic State of Iraq, 20 insurgents in Baghdad, and 23 insurgents in Baqubah. Coalition forces killed eight al Qaeda operatives and captured 10 during raids throughout Iraq.

Ghazni; UruzganAt least 60 Taliban were killed during fighting in Uruzgan province. The US positively identified a Taliban leader captured in September as Rahmatulla, the the former Taliban commander of Andar district in Ghazni province.

GhazniAfghan and NATO forces captured six Taliban fighters and killed two during a raid in Ghazni province.
